Women in Media: Website Design & Development
Design | Development | Responsive
I was thrilled to be selected to design and develop the Women in Media Australia website. The old site was slow, clunky and not responsive (read: Google penalties!).
The Women in Media website was re-designed to deliver a more streamlined user experience for visitors; with clearer navigation and stronger calls to action to increase user engagement.
The Women in Media site is large (20+ pages) and contains a lot of information. The site is a contact point for all the state-based committees across Australia as well as a crucial contact interface for women wanting to register for membership, apply for mentorship, learn about events and take confidential action on workplace harassment.
The site required a suite of robust contact forms as well as a self-populating event interface.
Women in Media were really happy with their new, responsive website. Jane McKay Communications provided a video tutorial to enable the WiM team to update the website themselves which they have been doing successfully.
